Frosting Recipes

Decorating Frosting:
  • 2 lb powdered sugar (7.5 cups)
  • 1 cup shortening or butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • dash of salt

Glaze Frosting:
  • 2 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 T water
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 T Karo
  • 2 tsp soft shortening or butter

Cream Cheese Frosting:
  • 1 8-oz pkg cream cheese
  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup room temp butter
  • 1 T lemon juice
(Will look stiff at first, but don't add liquid.)
