Ingredients
2 c water
1 apple, peeled and sliced thinly
1/2 t salt
1/2 t cinnamon
1 1/2 c regular oatmeal
Directions
Boil water, apple slices, salt, and cinnamon on stove until apples are tender (about 5 minutes). Add oatmeal. Stir until mixture boils. Cover and remove from heat, let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
