Ingredients:
- Pataks sauces or Bombay Authentic sauces (Tikka, Rogan Josh, Garahon Masala, Vindoloo--hot)
- 3-4 tomatoes
- 3-4 onions
- Basmati Rice
- 3-4 cinnamon sticks, 3-4 garlic cloves, sprinkle of ginger, slat, and pepper
- Plain Yogurt
- 3-4 chicken breasts
Marinate cut up chicken in sauce for several hours beforehand.
Dice onions, cook over medium heat until soft and translucent. Stir in grated garlic, cinnamon sticks, ginger, salt, and pepper.
Put chicken in with onions, and cook briefly.
Add diced tomatoes, and simmer until tomatoes fall apart and reduce.
Serve over rice, and stir in plain yogurt.
Chapati:
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup chapati flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
- 65 mL warm water
Knead together and let rest 45 minutes. Roll out into tortilla shapes. Cook in pan, high heat, with a little butter or oil. Turning once.
